NHCC Children's Sunday School

Children's Bible study programs run on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at Northern Hills Community Church, Phoenix, AZ 85050 (Arizona, Southern Baptist, SBC)Children's Sunday School

2's to 3's – Toddlers

Toddlers start their very first Sunday School class during the 9:30 service. In this program, our loving teachers provide a Bible story, along with crafts and games that reinforce the learning. These little children are hearing all about Jesus, they know he loves them, and they know that he takes care of them.

At the 11:00 service, the children have fun activities, since the Sunday School program has not expanded to cover this service, too.

The Toddler Director is RaNell Maurice and she welcomes new teachers and classroom helpers.

4's to 5's – Preschool and Kindergarten

For the families who are actively service and an adult Bible study class, kids in this age group can attend two consecutive classes, with the 9:30 service and then the 11:00 service. The teachers have stories, crafts, and games that teach the day's Bible story and reinforce the learning throughout the morning. Kids can attend either class or both classes as a convenience to their parents.

These children are solidly learning about Jesus and the Bible. They return to their parents, excitedly displaying their craft, singing Bible songs, and telling the stories.

This group frequently has parties after church, like days to play in the water pools and hoses, hot dog BBQ days, Easter egg hunt days, and so much more. They are challenged to achieve high attendance with special awards. In fact, they make sure that their parents get them there every Sunday.

The Director of this program is Patty Heath. She has a dedicated group of teachers and classroom helpers. More are welcome to join this ministry!
