Pastor Jay moved to Phoenix with his parents from Galesburg, Illinois, when he was a boy. 

After attending Glendale Community College and Arizona State University, he earned promotions to vice president of sales for the United Metro Materials Company.

Successful in the world's eyes, he was empty on the inside. While listening to Pastor Richard A. Jackson preach the Gospel of Christ on television from North Phoenix Baptist Church, Jay accepted Christ at home in October 1976.

During the past 27 years, Jay has faithfully served as a deacon, a Bible teacher and an outreach and visitation minister. Pastor Jay was ordained to the work of The Gospel Ministry in March 2002.

Pastor Jay and his lovely wife, Marcia, teach a verse-by-verse Bible Study each Sunday.
